Any band knows (or should know) that they are nothing without great fans. In our case, we are lucky in that our fans are also our great friends and without all of you we'd not have this great opportunity to get out and have fun doing what we love to do. We've always had the philosophy that, hey, there are 6 of us, that should be enough to take care of all of the flyering, promoting, merch selling, etc. Mostly, we just don't like inconveniencing you by asking for your time. However, we've learned that many of you out there are EXTREMELY generous and actually want to help us out. What can we say, you kick ass! So, below, we've found a bunch of easy ways that you could help us kids out, many of which you can do in just a few minutes while at the computer.

Ahhh, yes, in these days of good ol' blogs, groups and forums, we've noticed web hits from all over the place including blogs based in Japan, Poland and Germany. Just a simple little link in a LiveJournal, or in a forum on Celtic, punk or rock music goes a loooong way for an indie band like ours.
We had no idea that there would be soooo many sites out there built to attract indie bands and their potential listeners. The web is packed full of sites that allow users to review or comment on bands and CDs. Many of you have already helped greatly by contributing comments...thank you! The links to the right contain pages where people can anonymously leave feedback, comments, etc. that persuade people to decide whether they should give us a shot. Many people have requested that we post flyers so they can either a) print them out to hang on the wall, or b) help distribute, hang, etc. for upcoming shows. The space to the right will contain our latest 11"x17" flyers for upcoming shows in both JPG and PDF format. Ultimately, one of the best ways for us to be heard is to get some airplay on the radio via web radio and normal AM/FM channels. As it turns out, our music has been playing on everything from punk rock radio shows to Celtic trad/folk shows . From NPR & Clear Channel to college indie stations, we are very grateful for the airtime we've had. So, if ya have a spare moment while listening to the radio try requesting an Amadan tune. If they've not heard of us, than drop us a line and we'll send them a CD. Never have we realized more that life is short than when we receive an email that says, "When are you guys coming to 'blank'?!" There are sooo many places we'd love to play, and sooo many people we'd love to get out and meet, but time is definitely a limiter for us. Most of the hard work in playing a new venue/city is finding the best venue for us to play (where all 6 of us fit on stage with all of our gear), then getting the word out that we're going to be there and will try not to suck while we're there ;-) Any help, advice, word-spreading you can do would be very appreciated!
